A reseller credit is an internal unit used by a panel to perform supported account actions. It is not automatically equal to one dollar, one customer or one year. The provider defines how many credits are required for each duration, connection quantity, trial or special option.
Because the unit can be misunderstood, always separate three numbers: price per credit, minimum credits purchased and credits consumed by the account you want to create.
How reseller credits are used
A panel may deduct credits when you create a new customer line, extend an existing line, add a connection or generate a trial. Some actions can be free while others consume a balance. The dashboard should show the current total before you confirm.
Credits normally stay inside that provider's panel. They are not cryptocurrency, cash or a universal unit transferable between unrelated services.
Calculate the real account cost
Use this formula: account cost = credits consumed × your price per credit. If an annual line uses a provider-defined number of credits, multiply that number by the rate attached to your tier. Add payment and operating costs before setting a retail price.
The Hello Sky page lists rates of $1.20, $0.99 and $0.89 per credit. It intentionally does not invent the missing minimum order or duration chart.
Minimum order and volume tiers
Lower unit rates often require a larger starting balance. Compare the cash commitment and how quickly you can responsibly use the credits. Unused inventory can be expensive if demand is uncertain or the credit policy changes.
Choose a higher-volume tier only when proven sales and renewal patterns justify it, not because the unit figure looks attractive.
Expiry, transfer and refund rules
Ask whether credits expire, remain valid while the account is active, can be transferred to another reseller login or can be refunded before use. Obtain the answer in writing. A general consumer subscription policy may not apply to wholesale business balances.
Also ask what happens if the panel is replaced or migrated. A balance should be reconciled before any change.
Track credits and customer obligations
Maintain a ledger showing date, customer identifier, action, period, credits used, retail payment and renewal date. Do not store full passwords in a casual spreadsheet. Reconcile the ledger against panel history regularly.
Keep a reserve for confirmed renewals and avoid promising an activation until the necessary balance and service status are verified.
Common credit mistakes
- Assuming one credit equals one month
- Calculating a package without the minimum order
- Ignoring extra-connection cost
- Creating the wrong duration
- Giving unlimited free trials
- Failing to record renewals
- Buying more balance than demand supports
- Assuming unused credits are refundable
Ask Hello Sky reseller support for the current chart before buying.
